Arsenal Thread

My home team lost, Arsenal lost, even Leicester lost, Had a terrible Fantasy League, and I keep losing freakishly nonstop w/ Arsenal in Fifa 16. What is going on...:CRY::CURSE::(
 
In all sincerity how frustrating is it for Ozil...produces magical passes ,and no one to finish it. He started the night on 15 assist and ended it w/ 16 assist, he produce chancse to get 20 or more tonight. :FISH:

Top of the league and hope Leicester beats MCity ! Congrats to Petr Cech 170 recorder breaker clean sheets

That blind pass on the first half to Theo was one of the best passes I have ever saw. Pure magic

The one when Theo took two touch too many to fluff it? That pass to Giroud n Theo over the top was so perfect :PRAY: a simple tap instead of a swing was needed. That ball went behind everyone lol ,forget about the headers ...Per (header) ball smack his head from the post :LOL:
 
It was a good performance which was the main thing
Gabriel played brilliant, decent goals, ozil amazing
his passes were epic today he could've had a half a dozen of assists today

congrats to cech for beating the clean sheet record

overall team played better i would like to see a bit more rotation here and there
i think chambers done pretty was maybe a bit nervous early in the game but improved throughout probably just that he hadnt played much recently
ox had a solid performance

It could've and probably should've been a lot more but 3 points is the main thing

Looks like arsenal could be signing Mohamed Elneny
of course it aint confirmed yet but im hoping its true
because we do need cover in certain positions
because arsenal is a different team without coquelin
flamini arteta etc... no where near
he seems good

hoping to see a decent amount of transfer activity in the window
even though had bumps here and there at least we're still in the mix
but a couple of signings is a must
and it would be a great start if arsenal sign Elneny
 
Don`t think we deserve all 3pts we were battered by Newcastle. I think Petr Cech made (2) massive saves tonight .We need Alexis back soon ! We snatched a win and MCity did the same :BLEH:
 
Weird match started slow then I felt newcastle kinda got confidence from seeing that we werent at our best then they'd improved and were the better side for a good bit of the game but thats why a good goalkeeper like cech is a must made a couple of good saves, we need more players some seems tired and then there's no one to come in

ramsey playing well but finishing product poor
bench is not good defense okay but theres like no attacking subs
except for rene and iwobi, wenger does not trust them enough to put them on
although he almost put iwobi on just before arsenal scored then he changed his mind.

i did feel that after the goal arsenal played much better but needs a few signings

i look at the team sheet
goalkeepers i think we're really good cech has been fantastic and ospina can be a decent backup
defence
pretty good although i would like to see one signing, i dont trust debuchy its sad because when he first came he done pretty well but then when he got injured it all went downhill he lost his place and even when he got a couple of chances in the cups or when bellerin has been injured debuchy has done terribile
so i kinda want to see debuchy replaced and maybe another cb
midfielders
a bit concerned area i think needs the most attention in certain ways
liked i mentioned before arsenal completely different team without coquelin
arteta and flamini not good enough they've done their jobs in the past and even the odd occassion recently(ish) but they're finished
and newspapers calling that arteta returning earlier from injury is bad news
honestly i would like to see 2 players signed that can play as a cdm
for me if possibile elneny & rabiot would be good
attacking wise also concerning rosicky and wilshere always injured
the bench has no real game changer
wingers concerning because sanchez injured doesnt leave much and forces walcott out wide when i actually prefer him central as it forces the defence to think differently, campbell has done fantastic but then who else welback is injured although i have mixed feelings i admire him for his effort but he doesnt score enough goals in the league (in cups he done decent) and he isnt a proper winger he's drawn to the middle at the wrong times

i feel that we're actually in a good position but i would like to see arsenal signing a winger but who could also play striker maybe or plus get a backup striker

Although at least leicester only drew vs bournmouth
they mustve done well with 10 men for quite some time
main thing is arsenal getting the 3 points pity city won in the end but main thing is being 1st and have a really good chance this year but a couple of signings is a must

Seems that it is very likely of us getting Elneny fc basel have just signed a possibile replacement so it seems likely since the rumors have been very strong
although still only a rumor until its confirmed

Elneny is done deal 99% 5m is peanuts .We spend 15m to fight for the title is madness. Wenger trust this squad and mostly are sick noted players Diaby 2.0. Wenger is a idiot!
 
Can this kid hold his own at DMF properly?

I confess I don't know anything about him, but the last thing we need is another Arteta-type of guy playing in front of our defence.

If he fits in well somehow, this could be a master stroke by Wenger. A player that won't make a fuss about playing 2nd fiddle to Coquelin, but will keep him on his toes.

Will we see something else happening? Striker too, maybe? We don't know when Welbeck will be fit again...

There's talk of Debuchy leaving too. If so, we'd have the young Bellerin as our only RB... unless we recall Jenkinson?

Things could shuffle more than expected at Arsenal this month.

It was not as bad as last years game away at stoke but it was still bad
They got away with murder in the game bad fouls from the first minute
constantly breaking down attacks unfairly
theyre lucky that half of their team isnt sent off

Stoke are scum, they boo a player who got his leg broken
disgrace how would feel if they get all of their legs broken but they get booed

I know shawcross got a lot of abuse for that before but it a big part was his comments which got the most abuse because he responded to a very small minor part on social media which in the end created a lot more
 
A lot of all this business is also down to Arsenal (fans).
If there is a bad atmosphere between two parties, that is always the consequence of 'mistakes' by both sides...
I never think Shawcross deliberately injured Ramsey...

Arsenal's reaction is also an incentive to Stoke to play 'physical'. IMO Wenger has to take much of the blame for that...

Their chairman spoke out and think its a disgusting chant about Ramsey. No one deserve to get booed unless he fakes his leg break. Ramsey was out for 9 month! he came back and looked scared . He had to endure a lot to get back and for those fans and the ones who stay quiet w/ a grin are just as bad.

They should applaud his career wasn`t over! Stokes is a cold place and apparently the ppl living there. I wonder if their blood banks are empty. disgust lots
 
Might aswell look at the good sides
Even though it is 2 points in 2 games but they were both difficult places to go
and still being first is a great thing even though its on gd and man city 1 point behind when it could have been more, does make the 3-3 draw vs liverpool a bit more disappointing after the stoke draw even though last few years it was the kind of game which we would loose
but it just makes the next games even more important now


Iwobi impressed me when he came on he made some great control with the ball and he was dangerous

I cant fault anyone in the team because they did play decent maybe except of ox i felt his passing was a bit off

Cech has been fantastic this season for sure saved us many points

Campbell had a good match even though he did miss a chance

What worries me is the bench because vs liverpool the subs bench is not great
and a bit too defensive, just felt it sometimes invites pressure
for me best way to defend is sometimes to have fresh legs attacking
but if Iwobi can step it up he'll be a great option to have when needed
 
TheOx has been in bad form (wks in) and does no favours by trying to play it out. That only cause more problems w/ every bad decision he makes on the pitch. He removes the teams objective and concentrates on his the over cooked dribbling/passing in such.

As for the bench, with so much injuries to vital players it`s a throw your arms up in the air situation. The game vs Stoke we had a very selective squad and tbf we could`ve lost . We know chances are part of the game, in the back of my mind I think Ozil was spared. Wenger lost 3pts vs Liverpool and the sub were the wrong selection. Arteta is completely DONE!
 
I've been saying that about Arteta for ages for this thread!
Hope Eleneny proves to be the real deal and hopefully coquelin will be back soon

I didnt think the ox was that bad before other than sharpness in the final third but i felt vs stoke so many given away balls bad passes

I was talking with my friends during the game how the bench looks so bad
Wenger how can you not see that we need players
i know injury list is quite big and quite a few players arent too far from returning but not getting anyone more is a risk because it could loose the title
and in part we already have dropped points because the bench is lame
not to get loads but 2 players could really change things and give a big push towards the title
 
Last time we won the title we bought Reyes (January window). I didn't see the need back then. Wenger was spot on! Since then Wenger is spot wrong!

I won`t bash Wenger`s inabilities at this stage, but if we are honest . This season he looks good because of the shit MUTD,Chel and Liverpool been in. MCity should be 10 pts ahead normally too. Its good to talk about Arsenal in here , but this community is looking more and more like a Chinese ghost city

also costa had already passed mertesacker before he went down

plus ive seen more goal scoring opportunities like that and not even a yellow plus that was a decent fair bit out
I thought it was meant to be goal scoring not last man anymore
plus kos was not too far away

amazing how people can support someone like costa chelsea chanting costa costa.....

what are going on with decisions yellow for kosc for a shoulder to shoulder

This was very very clumsy and stupid from Mertesacker... the way he looked at the linesman a moment before the tackle, deary me... :LOL:
Anyway, there was contact, clearly the last man, clearly denying a one-on-one, it's a 100% sending off for me.

Also if that was a shoulder-to-shoulder challenge from Koscielny, then I'm The Queen lol.
