eFootball (All Platforms)

Has there ever been a single team added mid-season for licensing reasons before? Outside of obvious league & competition updates
Since it's eFootball, I don't know.

They definitely did it in the PES era, at least once: they added licenses to the Serie B teams halfway through the PES 2020 lifecycle, I think in v 1.02.

Then in v 1.03 they made all the teams from the Colombian league unlicensed because yes:

So it is mostly just league based? Seems weird. I don't ever remember a single team being added mid-season. Or even a team being removed. Players? Of course, it happens all the time. But a whole team?

eFootball ploughing it's own weird furrow I guess

PES 2015 added 8 European teams in DP 1 and 4 more in DP 2.
Leverkusen to efootball 🤝
If we ever get a Master League, we need at least 10 more European teams to fill Champions League and 20 more to Europa League.

Alongside Bayer Leverkusen, we got some new national teams in this update: Guatemala, Botswana, Congo DR, Gabon, Zimbabwe and a licensed Indonesia
Licensed Garuda is cool. Congo an odd one though, considering Fifa just banned them from international competition. But saying that, they still have Russia, so...

Can play Bayern v Bayer 25 times now when you want your German football fix.

PES 2016, they added the 50% of Rest of European clubs with a datapack. Then in midlate seasons , IIRC in the last datapack after winter transfers, they added Dynamo Zagreb.

Link2,

Dinamo Zagreb update

PES 2018 they unlicensed Bastia in early datapack and swap it, by added Paris FC early season.

PES 2020 IIRC they added some team midseason in Rest Of Latin America, don't remember now, Universitario, SBA or Sporting Crystal or all of them. (Not sure about this last one)

I am quite sure Sporting Cristal were added, since they were Peruvian Champions in 2020 (their last of their even-yeared 5 championships in 10 years) :TU:

hey, now that 24H2 is forced, after the update, I noticed the same issue... lots of stuttering and hiccups... did you (or anyone) find a solution?

also, do you have two monitors setup? are you on Steam or MS Store?
The solution is Windows 10

Aerial Challenges/players freezing

What is the average expected time differential between two users going for an aerial duel? It can actually be well over a second between two users, but it doesn't seem that much. Nor does it bother most of us a great deal (except should hoofing the long ball become overdone and systematic like a trolling tool). Basically we seem content to wait for a predetermined challenge to happen even though there could be ages between both users' inputs. It's not unusual to notice one power bar ignite first and stop, then an entire second after the next power bar ignites and stops both of which ahead of the duel. How do we explain the difference in timings and the amounts accrued? There can't be that much difference in leverage to impact and redirect the ball if both players are going to wait in position and both jump to head the ball. It's a predictable platform to reconcile the inputs of both users, isn't it? Just like the forward runs cool down precisely as a pass is getting intercepted.

Is that enough to ruin the immersion for you? Could we read so much into the fact that at the eFootball Pro Championship both sides were spamming the face buttons by the dozens while an air duel was imminent but two opposing players stationary in anticipation. I don't care if the limitations of the engine need more juice to involve 3, 4 or more players to contest the ball. Let's see what they can come up with. The direction of the game remains in doubt here, but I don't think I will be in the minority to expect more of the same in 2025 (minor updates not to change too much). Season update 2026 is where we should expect a significant leap forward with at least one meaningful paid DLC (to include Edit mode, a comprehensive MyLeague campaign, and maybe Strike Arena even).

What else could constitute a leap in my eyes? I would pose the following: Could the graphical fidelity be improved (high end systems separating from mobile would need to happen) to make gameplay challenging yet still compelling? Could we see mature analytics such as expected goals, and PP defensive action, average positions etc.? Lastly given the immense mobile fanbase, could we have an annual ranking events with automatic invitation to participate in a Pro Championship?

Finally downloaded this after holding off for so long, the lack of offline modes have been putting me off for some time.

I needed a little football fix last night, I have struggled to properly get in to FC25 and I am feeling a bit tired of PES21.

My first impressions were not great/not bad - It is certainly playable and there feels like a decent base here if Konami ever decided to pay some real attention to a football game again.

I played a few exhibition matches and then stumbled onto MyLeague, which looks like the nearest fix I will get to any kind of resemblance to master league.

I just had a couple of questions regarding how this works please - It mentions that promotion/relegation is possible for leagues with more than one division. I assume therefore that you can do rolling seasons and it is not just a one off season? Although, I think I am right in thinking that the AI will not improve their team or make transfers?

Lastly, do the changes that you make to your team update in real time? In other words, if I sign/add players to MyTeam will this team then update in MyLeague? Just thinking of how I can make some kind of transfer system work.

Thanks for the help all 👍🏻

Good questions raised! In its current state, I strongly doubt AI transfers are not concurrent to live update versus the life cycle of your MyLeague. In other words, AI teams could do with updating but not in relation to the span of your career.
