I just had a couple of questions regarding how this works please - It mentions that promotion/relegation is possible for leagues with more than one division. I assume therefore that you can do rolling seasons and it is not just a one off season? Although, I think I am right in thinking that the AI will not improve their team or make transfers?

Lastly, do the changes that you make to your team update in real time? In other words, if I sign/add players to MyTeam will this team then update in MyLeague? Just thinking of how I can make some kind of transfer system work.

Yes you can continue playing until next season and so forth. All your players that you sign will be available in MyLeague. As for transfer i don't know if live update will update the AI's teams during your myleague career. haven't paid attention to that yet

Cheers mate 👍🏻 Made a start with a J2 League MyLeague last night - Going to try and implement some ground rules to make a mock master league.

Good choice. J-league's atmosphere is not super terrible in this game since they're fully licensed. You're playing on console or pc?
 
Is there anyone here who’s enjoying this game?

I was a Pes player, went to fifa the last few years and played efootball now and again.

Recently decided fifa was absolute torture to play so deleted it and been playing this for the last week or so.

I’m strictly an offline player and wish there was more modes but it’s light years ahead of fifa gameplay wise if you want something at least resembling football.

Same camp really mate, I find eFootball more enjoyable and miles ahead of FIFA in terms of gameplay. Unfortunately, there is just no draw in for offline players to keep me hooked so it’s back to PES21 for now.

Yeah offline modes are severely lacking.

Hard lines tonight mate.

What a game that was.

2 teams just going for it.
Would have been a great final.

That’s the most I’ve enjoyed a game of football for a long time.

Nice one mate 👍🏻 PSG are one hell of a team, definitely the best we have come up against this season and I thought they deserved to go through over the two legs.

We need to dust ourselves down for Sunday now, won’t be easy with 120 minutes in the tank tonight and Trent out now too!

Old school PES player here, I still jump on now and then, its improved so much since launch and still has moments of magic, but sadly the complete lack of offline engagement is killing it for me, I find myself going back to PES2017 for a decent master league.
 
guorfan, this might be an opportunity for me to achieve div 4 ever. Honestly, I haven't bothered on eFootball league. The events are my jam with over 90 minutes in-game, plus the chance of extra-time and penalties. I will have to try my best to avoid Koller next week but this weekend is golden!

Personally, if my gameplay experience changes much on PA4, I should care to mention it to you. Matchmaking has matched me with another PA4 once since eFootball 2023. We are so scarce in any division. Still F2P I hopefully get by the A.I. through div 8,7,6. In 5 the level of my opponents doesn't hand me runaway wins with major mismatches. It's encouraging to play similarly matched opponent to notice the healthy lot of us still enjoying the game. Similarities in team strength and/or experimental formations. However, the odd time the opponent would have been relegated and be expecting to climb up a higher division. Sweating out the defaults, I reckon I could get to division 4 but not buying the overall 'pleasant experience.' What minor gameplay tweaks have been reported if any?

No idea I do not follow news about eshameball just make me funny how they talk about their game
 
Nothing to write home about at least until Monday's update. Any questions from the community as to the direction forward, i.e. cross play, edit mode? Thanks

Crossplay between PC and XBOX is already available at the moment. And works fine.
The only requirement is Windows Store game version for PC. Not a Steam.

You just need to find the right community where you can truly enjoy the gameplay opportunities, playing online leagues and friendly matches of fuma with the same enthusiasts as you.
The problem is that for PS players it will be more difficult to do than for PC and XBOX.

Totally agree, it plays great. Unfortunately, for solely offline players like myself there is no draw to keep coming back.

It’s a real shame that Konami have turned their backs on players like myself. I still think there would be a massive offline community ready to dive into this if an ML was released tomorrow (not going to happen I know).

Even a proper online, not just [cheated players Vs. "even more" cheated players]. I actually like the game and play it almost everyday but it's just frustrating from Division3 where you just face cheated legends.
 
Give that game a proper manual online Ranked mode and a manual coop mode, and the game can maybe be saved with some work.

But right now, assisted games (PA1 & PA2) on ranked vs 108 Messi is PURE BULLSHIT!

You’re right, and there is a wider point too in that if they did attract a new market of offline players then naturally a lot of those offline players would still probably dip in to an improved online too.

ML/Career Mode is always my go to mode but I would still occasionally play from UT or Pro Clubs.

It seems a win/win for Konami but they just don’t seem interested.

He is right, it's the most playable game created since a very long time, a bit souless and i don't like super reactivity vs physical agility with the ball.
@H_G i remember you said about that kind of reactivity that everything happen when you put a direction, but i'd rather prefers a minimum of inertia than that, too me there's too much agility with the ball with every players....

But the game is still playable like a PES 2018 with a GK and Referee.
Note that i'm not a fan at all of 2018 version due to super speed dribbling (for me), i need to feel what i do.
So if we considers it as a PES reactive for more fun and feeling, it's not what i'm searching as a feeling, too fast while moving with the ball/normal step speed

Guys, I applaud your commitment to my bit here, but it's April 5th. The joke is over now (unlike eFootball which will pain us forever).
 
Personally i'm serious when i said that this game is the more playable of the 3 and even better than some older PES.

But i hate the fast dribbling and the new system to defend. Some previous versions were better (ef2023 and in certain measure ef2024). More physicality and inertia.
There's much much more logic than in Fifa and more outcomes than in UFL but still a "basic souless game". Even if it was a very good game i wouldn't play as the online format doesn't suits me.
Plus their ridiculous mini-games and others stuffs like "today is the special Lewandowski journey!" > and they add 5 events where you got to score like a scenario 2 times with his head, 3 times with his butt etc.

Default game speed is too fast. -1 feels more natural and you can feel the inertia better.
 
Apart from the nocrowd mod, are there any ways to improve performance on a low end system? Are there any other mods like the no crowd tool?
