English Premier League thread

colin don't got a lot of fans cos he always talkin' out his ass. & he got the palace job by default really cos malkay malkayy would of most probably got the job if he didnt sent racist/gay snake texts.
palace are gonna be playing in the championship next season imo, sucks for them that pulis left.

I think you should give up jihado. :) mourinho and simeone are carbon copies of each other in terms of gameplay styles (and characters too). costa's feeling just like he's with atletico.

if u cant judge him why think hell be a flop? :P

but seriously i'll think he'll score at least 20 goals in the PL only. injury or no injury

I think he'll get just below 20, the games in the premier league come thick and fast plus he has the cl and fa cup, there is such a gap in quality between him and chelsea's next best out and out striker means theyll have to either rest or rotate him or he'll be a huge risk of injury. I know theyve signed remy (or seem to hours away from doing so) but i would have kept Ba and played in FA cup games and CL group games except against Schalke

Amazing transfers for the Premier League !
I think it's the first year that every team got a potentially great signing, especially Hull City.

Yeah despite what we may individiually think about the fairness of the money being tossed around..this could rival the NBA of the early 90s for concentration of big/huge names in one league.

I was just wondering if Warnoch wasn't the PR with the best results in the EPL the last seasons, surely better than Redknapp.

What is wrong with Warnock, that he is called colin wanker ?

He didn't exactly covered himself in glory when Sheffield Utd got relegated, but then the Tevez thing was kind of bizar...

Several things spring to mind with Warnock, as a Liverpool fan of course the first thing that comes to mind is his criticism of Liverpool and Rafa Benitez for apparently playing a weakened side against Fulham in 2007, apparently the one game that caused Sheffield United to get relegated. He said there were at least two players that started the game that he'd never heard of, and it was a disgrace.

This was the team that started against Fulham:

Reina

Arbeloa
Hyypia
Paletta
Insua

Sissoko
Alonso
Gonzalez
Pennant

Bellamy
Fowler

Hardly a team of unheard of players is it? He still believes to this day that Rafa Benitez got his team relegated.

Some stunning goals today in the games between Soton and QPR. Glad to see Bertrand doing so well, Pellè is starting to grow on me as well... now Michu is gone

Haven't seen any other goals but Dzeko's was nice. Big swerve on it. Aguero's was a class predatory goal. Didn't even look

Yaya nearly scored an absolute thunderbolt from 35 yards.

Mangala's was a sweet header too

Its been a joy to watch early kick offs w/ ManCity! they play such attack minded, it allows teams to attack back making it a joy to watch. Losing just makes it better, it looked like fate that they lost. When does Aguero miss from 6yrds out ? :CONF:

The Hammers were just as exciting the bad news is once their injuries happens they don`t have the cover. They could fade away, but atm I`m really enjoying this season`s upsets.

Big respect to Goal Line Technology! That goal w'd not be given other wise :APPLAUD::BOP:

Pellegrini playing 2 up front and Fernando as a CM instead of a DM is killing us. He's also constantly messing about with the left side of our defence. No other top team does that. Defenders of all players need consistent games to shore things up.
