Another lacklustre performance despite the win...

Both fullbacks were very weak today.
 
The atmosphere sure but the condition of the stadium itself belongs to the lower leagues. Not Europe.
 
The one nice thing about us being crap for the last 18 months is that the decibel levels at OT have noticeably risen.

Does make sense for OT to be the loudest - it's easily the largest.
 
I thought Liverpool n Crystal Palace were the loudest and seeing empty Villa grounds louder then Anfield makes no sense.
 
The last 10-15 minutes of our games (while we were still ahead) against Real Madrid in 2013 were incredible, the place was shaking.
 
Anfield during matches is the personification of the chant 'You only sing when you're winning'.

Dont agree with that logic. Been to some pretty big stadiums that were quiet as fuck whereas considerably smaller ones were loud as hell. I do think the design of the stadium can benefit noise levels however

Last season they were mentioned as relevation fodder in the Championship. They promoten against all odds and they decided to be sensible and not to invest millions to avoid the drop. And now they are winning matches.

Im not.

We have a fantastic relationship with Jorge Mendes which covers our two big deals in Di Maria and Falcao, Rojo deal seemed a bit complex so that might have garned some agent fee's but we don't really bend over backwards for agents which means he often lose out on some signings because we've not been willing to pay the agent fee's (Hazard being one from recent times)
 
Sorry to bring back the noise issue, but i heard that OT made modifications this summer to aid focus the acoustics of the stadium so the chants will be louder for better environment. So I'm not surprised about this. Stadium size has nothing to do with loudness, but the acoustics is everything.
 
A test consisting of 1 home game and 1 away game ins't going to give reliable results in football, not when atmosphere is often tied to the opposition and what is occurring in the game.

It would seem Utd played Chelsea around the time the test was carried out. If so, ou would expect a better atmosphere than usual
