9 mill for each player is not an easy amount of money.

Oh man... Genoa got Rafinha too?!!? Damn!! This team, coach, the directors, they sure as hell know what the fuck they're doing!
I know who I'm going to manage when FM11 comes out.![]()

You're right, last season was a mess. But they need to replace agingI'm not so sure PLF.
If i remeber well, then they already bought quite a few new players last year. The result was not what they hoped (CL football) and this year they are once again lots of players.
A team with new player has to gel, that takes time and patience from the board. Last season the Genoa boar lacked this patience.
I'm not so sure if all those transfers are a good sign to be honest. I like Genoa a lot, but i forsee a dificult and disappointing season for them.
Difficult and disappointing = no CL football.
thanks to arab who gave him 18 mln for Kolarov)

What is this "one of" shit?! No no no, he is the greatest. PeriodI still rate him as one of the best in that role.
when you look at the perfect right back, professional footballer, from whatever angle you like, it doesn't get better than Javier Zanetti. A couple of goals wouldn't have hurt I suppose
but I wouldn't trade him for Maicon, Alves, Zambrotta or Cafu, even in their peak years. Has there been a more consistent performer in the history of the game? Unbelievable this guy. And he hasn't been seriously injured once. Totally deserves a new contract and a raise if he wants it. At this rate Cambiasso won't even get to captain Inter
(he is or was next in line).
mazzarri kept this jewel on the bench all season long last year..... and now napoli sold him for just 8 million euros!!!
well done de laurentis
if marino were still in charge as napoli team manager, he would have never let this happen.
that's the point, even though the permanent deal isn't official yet, can u imagine monchi not paying those 8 millions to get the best under 25 regista in europe? right now monchi and del nido are probably laughing at those idiots in napoli who agreed to let luca leave for such little cash.Sold? I thought he was on loan and, when that finishes, Sevilla have the option to buy him for that much. Although I suppose he's as good as sold, in all honesty

oh yeah, there's also that polish kid. well that makes us more than covered for the cb position, i guess. my only concerns are for the midfield department.... i feel we're a little short on backups at midfield.Jumbo said:You've signed a Polish kid called Kamel Glik for backup I think Ben?
Don't jinx him now. Yes he played a nice game but I think because the Barca mids stepped off him too much, affording him a lot of space to collect and spray passes. Amazing assist by the way. But best regista under 25... I don't know, let him get more regular football, playing consistently at a high level, and then we can talk, but certainly the potential is there. I wanted him at Inter actually but apparently we need another DMFand apparently luca had absolutely no problem in adapting himself. that was his first official match and he wasn't even a starter, yet as soon as he came in, he single handedly changed the shape of his team and the story of the match. he was so confortable, he looked like a veteran who had played with that club for his entire carreer.
There would've still been room for him however, as back up to Motta or the other way around.Fantastic newsPoor Juve.. just poor. We started off great with a lot of movement and chances then after our goal we just began to fall apart.
Selling Deigo would've made it all the more funnier. I can't believe selling him was actually an option, ahead of Melo and Amauri. Maybe because he's actually worth something in the market. But Del Neri was 100% right in saying that Diego offers something that you would otherwise not have at all if he left. And I think he would make a great support striker. Reason he drops deep is because there's no one to transition the ball from defence. There's no quick fix for Juve I don't think, but I think Deigo is key for them. Oh and what about a left back? And why did they let go of Caerces? He looked promising and was a versatile player.
). serie a is the last league to begin (in september) and our coaches work to put their players in the best condition by october.i gotta be honest, i strongly disagree with del neri's last statement. NONE of juve players can dictate the rhythm precisely because none of em is a regista. this has been juventus' main issue in the last 4 seasons, and i can't see how things could possibly change until they will address this problem by signing a regista.del neri said:"i really don't like this. i didn't see the tactical improvements i was expecting from my players. that's not my football. the players were too scared. we gotta have more courage. i don't want my players to feel guilty for last year's performance. that's a new season and i want them to start over......
...we were too much wasteful. too many loss of possession. the long ball is just a "last resource" and cannot be the main play in our playbook, coz that's not my football. i know we don't have a regista, but every midfielder in this team can dictate the tempo of the plays"
... did anyone see this new television series called Javier Pastore?
