I never got to try this game on next gen but I just ordered the disc version, so I’ll be able to go back to the vanilla version, before all the updates

This and 16 are the only ones I keep in my xbox hard drive. Let me know how it plays before the updates. I really enjoyed it and even like it with updates even though I remember on release being so much better.
Also, if I buy physical can I just tell the game not to auto update or do I have to keep my console offline 24/7?
I'd even be tempted to buy it to try 1.0

I’m pretty sure you have to be offline when playing to stop the game updating, even after turning off auto-update, as Xbox will force update the game if you don’t, and once they do that the only way to cancel the update is by deleting the game

Old thread bump.

Found a PS5 copy of this in the cupboard. Thought I'd try it out.

Have to be honest, I've played about 6 games and really enjoyed it.

I've bumped line height up to 100 so the CBs move into the opposition half when in possession and tinkered with some other sliders but it plays a enjoyable game.

Plus, you actually get fouls unlike the last 2 FC games.

I will probably edit it a bit, update a few players stats etc..., and give a Career Mode a whirl. I usually play older titles but I do want to play a game with a bit more up to date database and this isn't too drastic being about 4 years ago.
