Gongratulations to Croatia. One size too big for Iceland, we never stood a chance, even when 11 against 10.

Excitement levels high in France. Less so in Sweden, looks like the nordic countries will be non-extistant in the WC 2014.

Looks like France is heading into the World Cup. I supported them back when they won the World cup in 98 but since their ludicrous display in 2010 I haven't been a fan.

Zlatan's goals were our fault though, at the very least the first one which was an offering to him, letting him jump without opposition. A freekick on that position is a penalty to the beast that he is.

Ronaldo was incredible today, finally he stepped up to be the player he is @ Real with Portugal too, ice cold in front of the keeper. The passes were half of the story also.

We always make these fun though, it can never be easy for us, always so much drama :D

I don't like quoting myself, but everything I predicted became reality and to be honest: There is no surprise in those results, all (my) favourite went through the playoffs, I think there will be a pretty competitive starting grid at Brazil next year, gonna see some interesting match at group stage already.

I agree, Moutinho is all over the place and he's the silent puppet master of our national team.

Not entirely fair though, I know our defense is absurdly error prone but they are/were massive tonight.

I don't remember seeing such a pathetic game like Ukraine did tonight, was truly a shame and they should not even comment this match.

Something was beyond terrible here, in the final minutes they had fouls to cross and they did not even had all the players in the box, also there was nobody in the attack near the end, what was that all about?

Losing is part of the sport and can happen to any side, but losing like this is a historical shame for Ukraine, and no, pressure has nothing to do with this, they could have lost in a dignifying way.

I was hoping they would go through or at least make a good fighting for it.. :COAT:

Ronaldo was majestic tonight. Normally for Portugal at least he's purely about the goals (the first leg he was shambolic but he scored). Tonight he was much better I thought.

Ibra did his part and almost helped lift Sweden but Ronnie was there to answer it. Turned out to be a great match for the neutrals.

congrats guys. it's great to have both france and portugal at the world cup. i was hoping they could both make it. :))

so what happens now? when is the draw for the world cup scheduled for?

oh and btw, i know plastic surgery wasn't really a thing in delacroix,'s days, but there's no way libertè's tits were real.:P

to play world cup , you have to get at least some top class players
france has too much ,
ribery,benzema,giroud,pogba,sakho,varane ,cabaye,evra ...

et un ..et deux.. et trois ..zeros ! :P

Fortune hates Ukraine. Just compare qualification group of Greece, Croatia and Ukraine. And now Croatia play against Iceland and Ukraine against France. These french guys were too disdainful to our national team. I hope Russia will revenge for us 'cause it seems like only we and russians were happy when we won France on friday. I don't know what happend this night... If fortune hates us I hate fortune too. We don't deserve it! I waited too much !
Anyway that's good that only 2 foreigners play for our national team (Edmar and Devic). I'm proud for our national team!

I feel disgust for what I saw in this match. This was my post just before the game, and my info couldn't have been more accurate. France won with a vast offside goal.

Seems like Platini's plan of doing whatever he wants is doing fine. Vommiting is the least logical reaction for what happens in european football all those years that Platini is president.
