The Retro-PES Corner

For those playing PES 5 - I would recommend setting the matches to 20 mins. It feels like the game was designed for it, I’m having some absolute classics.
Spot on.
I'd say the same thing about PES 6.. IMO I think that 20 minutes is the sweet spot for most realistic played scorelines, and 25 for "watched CPU vs CPU" games. :TU:

Hello bro thanks for this. The game works perfectly on a PS2 even using a USB stick with OPL. However I noticed the game seems faster and lighter when passing et cetera compared with PES5 just wondering is this a direct port of the PS2 version or has it been speeded up or is it The PC version modified to work on PS2? Just seems a lot quicker than when I play PES5 directly on my PS2 via the original PES5 disc?

Seems like when I play PES games directly via the original disc on my PS2, they seem slower and heavier than when I use one of these ISO files via OPL on my PS2?

Any idea ideas appreciated thanks.

Yeah, playing with HDL is sometimes a bit faster than using the disc. I had the same feeling about 20 years ago.

Despite that Messi was the star on the cover of PES 2009, a detail was missing. The Argentinian had a headband - Adidas brand logo and style- during the 2008 summer, the brand is missing on his headband in the game.

You're most likely referring to PAL/EU releases on original discs. These games run mostly at 50hz, unless you change this in the initial screen. Japanese games run at 60hz. This is probably the change of pace you're talking about.

Yeah I have that but looking for the Japanese version 🙂
do you refere to this version of game for ps2?

J. League Winning Eleven 6

this is patched by WEDoit team... it seems to have only their logo on open screen and nothing else a part the translation...
